Summary
The Romanian company is looking for a biomass recycling line for incineration of waste (plastic, paper, household waste), processing and obtaining biochar, capture and conversion of gaseous elements obtained from the incineration process into potential electrical energy, based on a commercial agreement.
Description
A Young Romanian company is ready to apply for a regional financing program which support investment in recycling equipment. So, they are looking for producers/providers of a specific recycling line, with the following technical characteristics:
• Incineration of the following types of waste: plastic, paper, household waste;
• Processing and obtaining biochar;
• Capture and conversion of gaseous elements obtained from the incineration process into potential electrical energy, subsequently usable energy.
The entire system is for recycling, treatment and burning of household waste, a process followed by the production of alternative energy with the support of vapors obtained in the burning process. This system is based on a decentralized recycling technology based on dry carbonization. This means that the biomass (household waste) is not burned, but degassed, and then carbonized at temperatures of 500-700 degrees Celsius. Excess thermal energy (up to 4.8 million kWh per year) can be used in the carbonization process, thus eliminating external energy consumption. Its production rates average 40% of the biomass input. Thus, from one ton of biomass, 40% is converted into biochar and thermal energy.
